Fall is one of our absolute favorite seasons to celebrate! With the changing of the seasons, we welcome crisp air, pumpkins and other fresh veggies, beautiful scenery, cozy blankets, and lots of love. Whether it be for an elegant wedding, an exciting bar/bat mitzvah, or even a little, homely get-together, we’ve got everything you need when it comes to invitations.

Here are 8 hot & happening styles for your upcoming celebrations:

  1. Shapes

Standard 4x6 invites are so last year. 2020 calls for new, creative designs when it comes to your invites.  By exploring with various shapes and sizes, your invites will surely stand out. Try something geometric for a fun, but safe alteration, or go completely off track and incorporate inanimate objects- wedding bands, balloons, birthday cakes, or a glass of wine. Your opportunities are endless!

  1. Sustainability

The world needs our help. That is evident. As a society we’ve shifted to using reusable grocery bags, recycled paper products, and metal straws. What if we told you we could keep green while still celebrating your special occasion? Sustainable announcements are a BIG trend this year- try utilizing recycled or plant-based paper. Together, we can celebrate while saving the planet...one invite at a time!

  1. Minimalist

Nothing screams modern more than a minimalist celebration. In 2020 we’ve seen a rise in minimal style, color, and design in our homes, our wardrobes, and now our invitations. However, minimalist does NOT mean boring. Less design...less distracting.

  1. Monogram

Monograms are on the rise...again! Always classy. Always personal. Always IN. Step up your monogram game by creating an outer shell to your invite. This could be a gate, symbolizing that of your marriage, or a big number 13, to represent a transitional year. You could even create a standard design that is flexible for any event or occasion. Put your creative mind to the test, the world is truly your oyster!

  1. Glitter

Did we hear someone say “more glitter please?” Of course we did. Who doesn’t love glitter? Add that little extra sparkle to your big day with vibrant, inviting glitter designed invites. Decorate your name, the envelope, or even the entire invite itself. I mean, after all, the more glitter the better.

  1. Floral

Floral, floral, floral. It's everywhere. Whether it be colorful wildflowers or a simple strand of ivy, we tend to be more in touch with our nature side recently. Not to mention it’s elegant, and full of life itself. Incorporate flowers and plants that represent the season in which you are celebrating. For fall, try chrysanthemums, pansies, or black-eyed susans. Bring in warm tones to reflect the changing leaves and seasons. You won’t be disappointed!

  1. Acrylic

2020 has called a rise to acrylic art, design, and now invitations. Encompassing the modern style, acrylic invites tap into our luxurious side. With a simplistic, polished look, these invites are timeless. Not to mention, they can be saved as keepsakes, to remember the special days of those we love most.

  1. Magnets

Let’s be real....once we get a wedding, birthday, holiday, or pre-planned dinner announcement in the mail, where does it go? The fridge! Traditionally speaking at least. Nothing is worse than spending time and money on a beautiful invite for it to be pinned up by a travel magnet or old clip. Now is the time to take the consideration of use into our designs. Plus, it will provide something unique that your guests and loved ones will be sure to not forget.
